This is coming along nicely, I think! It’s been so long since I’ve worked in this fashion, but I am really enjoying it! I feel like I’m at a sort of impasse with it, though…not quite sure where to go next, but realizing that a lot of it could use a lot more detail.
It’s raining and cold most days in Chicago now, hovering right around 50 degrees, dark all the time. The trees have turned flame-like, but it’s sort of hard to enjoy the fall colors without the sun. I enjoy hearing the sound of the rain outside, but I wish it was sunny most of the time. The trees are so beautiful–just a little bit of sun would really spark something magical. Sigh. Guess you gotta take what you can get.
This past Sunday was All Saints Sunday, which is always a big deal in my congregation. I was all psyched up to do this great art project, in which the congregation incorporates the names of the dead into the sanctuary artwork for the season. It went really well–with only a few alterations needed, and I really enjoyed working on it. Now I’m feeling a bit of post-project malaise as I try and re-integrate back to Hebrew and Coursework. Gah.

I find that a nice warm cup of cider, a good book and a comfy spot help chase away cold-weather malaise. Let me know if you want to get together and cuddle in the warmth of my apartment!

Always! 🙂 Cider is awesome…I will definitely have to get myself some of that.
