Lake Superior has a very near and dear place in my heart. Ice cold and lingering up there in the north, it seems like the haunted gateway to a different world. As I moved from state to state and house to house in my childhood, summer at Lake Superior was the one consistent thing, and my devotion to it as an artistic muse (photography, writing, or artwork) remains forever.
