Are you Sure? is the first image I completed after I returned from Korea and India, and was in my own country again. Shaken, a little, by the oddity of this, I returned to the roots of these drawings–Ghanaian trotros, steam-powered trains, and potent, complicated designs. I blew these things out of proportion, showing my heightened awareness of my past now careening into my future.
