This is by far one of my all time favorites. It was in process when I destroyed my sketchbook in December 2009, and it took me six months to return to it and complete it. Oddly enough, it contains few of my usual drawing obsessions–no cities, no trucks and trains–but the simplicity of the lines, the serenity of her face. Somehow it all just fit together without question.
