Marker Art #12: “The New Eyes of Dr. T.J. Eckleberg”

This image began particularly as another experiment with trees, but it morphed into a pun on a well revered novel (by a well revered Minnesota author to boot.) I was also doing some playing with the markers to see how mixing them made an effect, and “greyed” a lot of the buildings in this city to give the streets a glow. Not sure if it was 100% successful, but yet another fascinating thing that one can do with cheap markers.
