Marker Art #2: “City Made of Color”

City Made of Color is one of my favorites, and is inspired by trotros, the colorful, sleepy city of Takoradi, and faces with a story to tell. The most important thing about this drawing, though, is that I was certain it wasn’t going anywhere when I started it. This whole series started with a few images that I had no intentions with–and for a while, didn’t even like–and they gave me a message that I really needed to hear at the time.
